roseofmikado[For 25 years, the compound at Ichigaya has been left eerily empty; first as the military became so many corpses in the street, then as Tayama took it and forbade entry, then as demons poured forth from it, and now out of a wary respect for what lies beneath it.
It's still home to demons - not the roaming, wild Ouroboros that nested here when Tayama glanced the other way, but a few peaceful ones, who negotiated well with the remnants of the CDF when they arrived to reclaim old territory, backed up by a band of Samurai. It's home to a few humans too, permanent guards that look after the reactor. And it's been visited a few times since the ceiling vanished, by Skins and Fujiwara and a tiny contingent, to salvage what helpful documents they can find.
There's talk of basing someone there - elite Hunters, perhaps even the Samurai, both hotly debated - but it's early yet to make those decisions, when there are so many more decisions to be made. Of food, and establishing agriculture. Of resettling the country that no longer exists, and of
So for now, it's still quiet - its guards outside in the daylight, the Moirae sisters spinning wordlessly in a secluded room, a salvage contingent nearing the base, and the reactor room huge and empty and humming the faintest active hum.]
